CSY China-International Hepatitis Research Foundation is an independent charitable organization founded by the Vice-Chairman of the National People's Congress, PR China, The Hon Cheng Si-yuan and The Hon Wu Jieping as well as the late Mr James Lau in 1998. Aimed at improving the health standard of Chinese people, the Foundation will recruit the most reputable and top hepatologists from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas together to exchange views and knowledge on hepatology research, and to improve the standard of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases.

 

Objectives

 

• To arouse public awareness and knowledge about viral hepatitis in China.

 

• To provide training on prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis to medical profession in Mainland China and to enhance their knowledge in liver disease.

 

• To improve the standard of hepatology expertise in Mainland China by advocating academic exchange of international and local research To raise funds to develop and promote hepatitis prevention programs in Mainland China.

 

• To reduce the morbidity and mortality of viral hepatitis in China.
